Savvy Kitty Review

Have I ever mentioned that our household is also home to a small black cat? We never planned on getting a cat (really, my husband and I are both more dog people) but when we found her abandoned at a park's restroom, her eyes barely open, we couldn't just leave her there. So, home she came with us and stayed! I had to bottle feed her and take her to work with me for a few weeks. We thought she'd end up being a really sweet cat because of that--but if you know cats, you know they are so unpredictable! She is a really sweet cat to my husband, daughter, and I, but she hates anyone else that walks through our door! She's also not the most social cat. She typically keeps to herself upstairs during the day, waiting until we are in bed each night for some attention. Because of the fact that she's always upstairs sleeping, I starting thinking that it would be nice to get her a nice kitty bed. Which brings me to Savvy Rest and their awesome pet beds!

When the bed arrived, I was very impressed with how firm the mattress is. Its nothing like the dog beds we have that were flat 48 hours after bringing them home. It is firm enough to be supportive, yet has enough give for our cat to settle in comfortably. Maggie my daughter thought the bed was soft too and climbed onto it right away.

The outer cover is really soft! I love the fact that it is machine washable and made out of organic cotton flannel.

Well, the moment of truth came--bed time! I took the Savvy Kitty upstairs and put it on the floor next to our bed. Within 20 minutes Abby had discovered it and made herself comfortable! I was so happy that she liked it 'cause you just never know with cats!
