ToiletTree Pivoting Deluxe LED Fogless Shower Mirror...Because Daddy Deserves It

Today I'm excited to bring you a review and giveaway for ToiletTree's Pivoting Deluxe LED Fogless Shower Mirror as part of the Thrifty Nifty Mommy Blogger Network's Daddy Deserves It event.

My husband mentioned MONTHS ago that he would like something that enabled him to shave in the shower. We looked at Walmart, but didn't see anything appealing...and then I forgot to check anywhere else.  When I found out I would be receiving the Pivoting Deluxe LED Fogless Shower Mirror from ToiletTree, I couldn't wait to show him!

Now of course, since I'm reviewing it for this event, he was able to try it out before Father's Day. When I gave it to him, he was even more excited than I expected. He couldn't wait to set it up and try it out.

Originally we had been looking for a mirror that used a suction cup to attach to the shower wall. This mirror from ToiletTree is attached to your shower using removable silicon adhesive. Now, to be honest, my husband was slightly worried about putting this on our shower, but after doing some research online, we were both satisfied that it should be pretty easy to take off, should we decide at some point to remove it.

To secure it to the wall, first you'll want to clean any soap residue from your shower. Next, wipe down the area you'll be placing it with rubbing alcohol  Then you'll put two adhesive squares on the back of the mounting unit, and empty the entire tub of silicon onto the back, in the clearly marked spots. Then, just push it onto the shower wall in the desired spot. I installed in myself and it was very, very easy to do. Once you've put the mounting bracket on your shower wall, you need to wait 24 hours to let it dry before attaching the mirror or getting it wet. I hung our mounting unit after my morning shower so that way it would be ready to go when the next round of showers started in the morning.

Once the mounting bracket has had enough time to dry, it's ready for use...and using it is very simple. Just fill the mirror with hot water from your shower and hang. The hot water inside of it is what keeps it from fogging during your shower. The mirror hangs on a bracket that allows you to adjust the angle easily.

This mirror is equipped with LED lights, should you need additional lighting for a good shaving experience. We have a pretty well-lit bathroom, so this wasn't necessarily something my husband needed, but its a nice feature. Tap the button on the side once for full light, a second time to dim it, and a third to turn it off. The lights surround the entire mirror.

The mirror also includes a squeegee. You'll find that during a long, hot shower, that you may need to use this to wipe away excessive water beads off of the mirror. There is also a built in tray to hold your razor when not in use.

I asked my husband what he thought overall, and this is what he said: This mirror is great! It's just what I was looking for and more. Now I'm able to shave in the shower every morning, which saves me time. I love this mirror and would recommend it to any guy. It would make a great Father's Day gift!
